Help Oreo Come East

Warren helps save OReoThe money was raised and Oreo is now enjoying life at the Sanctuary in Maryland.

ORIGINAL APPEAL It was during a live broadcast in Southern CA in April 2006 when I first held in my arms this 7-week old puppy born with a spinal condition that left her paralyzed. The compassionate volunteers from the West End Shelter in Ontario CA brought him to me, and through my friend Joyce of Pets With Disabilities, we arranged for her to be fitted for a wheelchair.

Now named Oreo, she’s loved her new lease on life, running and playing like any other frisky puppy. But Oreo is now almost 2 years old and remains unwanted, cooped in a small shelter cage with minimal exercise.

She needs to live out the rest of her life in the Sanctuary where she will be able to run and play with Duke, Misty and Josh – all dogs on wheels, but they don’t let it slow them down!

We’ve brought Oreo this far – We need your help to get her to the East Coast. The estimated expense is at least $2000.00. Please donate at www.PetsWithDisabilities.org or call Joyce directly at 410-257-3141.

Pets with Disabilities is an all volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to helping and promoting the adoption of physically disabled animals into great homes. All donations are tax deductible to the extent permissible by law.
