Just in terms of companionship and not survival, another human being is always more difficult to get along with than an animal. Each would have it's merits, and each would have it's downside. Hopefully, we can all just enjoy our human and pet families in the comfort of our own homes.

If we'd get to choose which human or animal it's a hard question. If it would be a stranger in either case I'd go for the animal!
