A cat would, but not my dog. He gets excited when he smells good people food that he might get a taste of, but when it's gone, he forgets all about it. Although, come to think of it, he does almost have an annoyed expression when I stop rubbing his belly........
Yes, he does. He will stand and do a sort of "half cry" if he wants something (people food, a toy, to get into my bed). When a person stops petting him he will paw at them until he regains their attention. It's pretty cute when he paws at people...
