I talk to our dog partially to give him attention, and partially just to be silly I guess. It almost always includes telling him that I love him, and that he's a good boy.
i speak to my dog all the time - mostly to show him lattention & love - sometimes to tell him how my day went!! have to watch my tone, though if i am angry about something he might think it has to do with him
I have all kinds of converations with my dog. Mostly revolving around telling him how good of a dog he is... or that he stinks! I always use a tone that makes him think I'm saying nice things to him when I tell him he stinks, though.
