Nooooooooo! He hates company, especially kids!! We seldom have people over, so maybe if he were used to people, especially the same people, it would be different for him.
I have 2 cats one is a very social cat and his brother of the same litter is a scared of everyone and everything, especially kids. we think that some kids must have abused him before we got them. our one social cat I have leash trained and I will take him out to the park, take him to petsmart, and take him for car rides, he loves the attention he gets from everyone.
My dog loves it when people come over, well for the most part. There are a few people he doesn't seem to like (oddly enough the same ones I don't particularly care for), but for the most part it seems like a fun time for him. He always welcomes people he knows at the door and then demands their attention for at least the first 5 minutes of their visit!
