Yup we do. Our Shiba Inu's name is Corky Chase Renfield Chism Murray Placek, the 1st. He got those names based mostly on things he does. Corky is because he has a corky screw tail; Chase is because he chased the other puppies in the store where we bought him; Renfield is after the character in "Love at First Bite" with George Hamilton, his sidekick was named Renfield and ate bugs, so does Corky; Chism is after a character in a John Wayne movie of the same name whereby John Wayne would sit on the top of a mountain overlooking his ranch, Corky sits at the top of our road (its' a deadend) and looks over his domain; Murray is from the a sitcom that was on TV where the dog chased mice, real or unreal, so does Corky and Placek is his last name. As long as you don't call him late for dinner, he doesn't care and I'm very glad that I can't read his mind as to what he calls us.
We have five dogs and they all have more thn one "love"name. But, our little Tobias is another story. He's Toby, Little toe, Toto , Twinkle toes, Tater tot...My sweet boy answers to all his names.
Our dog's name is Hank Rollins. We call him hank, hankster, and hankles on a regular basis. If he is in a crazy exicted mood, we call him crankles (crazy+hankles). He gets called crankles a lot....
