Yes, I argue with my cat sometimes. She insists on sitting on my keyboard when I'm on the computer. We are argue about whether she can stay on the desk by the computer or if she needs to get down. I also argue with her about where she sleeps on the bed. She likes to sleep at the bottom of the bed near my husband's feet. This crowds him so I talk to her and move her to my side. She meows at me and we carry on a conversation about where she should sleep. My husband thinks I'm crazy.
I also argue with my cats when they stand at the door and can't decide come into the bedroom or leave the bedroom. They just sit there so I end up leaving the door cracked and let them come in and go out as they please.
Sometimes my dog and I discuss which way to go walking. I know it's her walk but if I have to cut the walk short I like to go down the other street. She sits, I argue, she sits, I argue, and most of the time I give in.
Do I cater to my animals? Well, . . . yes, of course. lol Teach
She stops walking and wants to go a different way than I want her to go. She stares me down until I give in--it's that (give in) or pitch a tent in that spot....I guess she is the "alpha." ( tee hee--not Warren't favorite word!! ) I don't argue with her, the walk is her time to have fun.
Yes if my granddogs want to play or eat before I am ready to do so, I will say, "What"? and they will jump up and or bark at me, like "lets go"! And I will refuse and say,NO< NOT NOW?!!1 i ALSO ARGUE WHEN HE WANTS TO GET ME OUTOF BED!!!
