We adopted a very sweet 3 year old Whippet from a breeder 4 months ago. For several consecutive days he has deficated in our gym downstairs. Last week was not the first time he did this. He seems very sensitive. If we don't say goodbye when we leave the house we find an unwanted deposit. We typically make the discovery a couple of hours after the incident so don't think we can punish him. He is usually alone all day when we are at work. We are usually home at night with him. We take him on brisk 45+ minut walks 5 or 6 days a week. Suggestions?
