I’ve conducted my own non-scientific study, Can anyone out there tell me why when it comes to spaying and neutering our pets, why men will spay anything that walks but when it comes to neutering their male dogs they just freak out -- even after I explain the physiological and psychological benefit?
Does anyone out there know of a couple that either met or got together because of his or her pets?
This whole blogging concept is new to me, so I’m asking for your input as to what you would like to see on the blog.
I would also like to hear (from you) about your amazing pets, and what makes them so important in your life. It’s ok to be crazy and eccentric; remember that it’s Warren that you’re blogging with.

I first want to thank you for all the wonderful advise you give to people having minor bumps in their roads to becoming good animal parents.
My wonderful, perfect 8 year old Airedale Terrier, Parker, and I listen to you faithfully every Saturday afternoon.
He sits at my side while we listen to people calling in for help and advise.
The bottom line to all your good advise is that we as humans are intrusted to be good stewards of our charges, therefore it is important for us to understand what they are telling us with their actions.
Parker has never given me pause to think about what he is telling me.
He is very clear and precise. We understand him perfectly.
He requires certain things from us and we of him. It is a very happy existance for us all.
He has total run of "his" house.
He is a total gentleman, and noble guardian of "his" property and parents, my husband and myself.
We adore our Parker.

A question that I have spent many hours discussing that always seems to find people on both sides: Do you think Vets should be required by law to report abuse cases that come into their care? An example would be people who try to 'dock' their dogs ears themselves? Should they just treat the animal and go about their day or be required to report this abuse to the proper authorities? Someone at work read about this and the discussion(s) got quite heated for both sides.
I couldn't imagine that anyone would even attempt to do something as bloody as "croping" a dog's ears themselves.

And yes, they should be reported by a vet if the vet finds out about it.
As the person who submitted the blog about the person who attempted to crop their dogs ears, believe me as sad and sick as it is, there are alot of people who do not agree that pets do have rights and are not just property. I have been in many a debate about this. Being a volunteer with animal rescue you see alot of abuse cases which we do report. We ourselves have to be very careful regarding lawsuits, burden of proof etc. I am glad to see another person who feels as I do.

There are now laws and advisories to Vets to report animal abuse,because of the relationship between animal and human abuse.
Are these laws for the vets to report animal abuse for all states or are the laws state by state decided?
